Mühlbach operates in two stages underground: one Pelton turbine harnesses a head of 610 m, while the second operates at 477 m. Together, they deliver 20.4 MW.

For Mühlbach, TROYER supplied the electromechanical equipment, including medium- and high-voltage switchgear and protection systems. The two Pelton turbines, operating at heads of 610 m and 477 m, generate around 100 GWh per year – 25% more than the previous power plant.
