Baden (AG), Switzerland
One of the highest-capacity power plants in Switzerland began operation in 2014. The electromechanical equipment, control and automation systems were all made by Troyer. A major challenge was to transport components along the steep and narrow access road. The plant features internally regulated nozzles (the Troyer standard for large turbines) while nozzle inserts and jet deflectors are individually removable, thus simplifying replacement.
