Valsugana (TN), Italy
The restructuring of the underground power plant involved the replacement of two generator sets (a third was kept and still stands as a sort of time capsule in the power house), as well as the supply of all electrical equipment. The new power plant equipment increases output by around 0.7 MW or some 10 percent for each generator set under almost the same hydraulic conditions.
