The vocational training center “German Technical School” in Dhading, Nepal (west of the capital Kathmandu), is a non-profit organization run by the Sheshkant Foundation and initiated by our Managing Director of Troyer Hydro, Pawan Dhakal.
The goal of the center is to train a skilled workforce for sustainable hydropower development in Nepal. Currently, electricians and welders are being trained. Courses for the operation and maintenance of hydropower plants in Nepal will soon begin at the center using the Eblock, the “transportable power plant” donated by Troyer Italy.
